Formulated to support your horse's hindgut health, Cool Fibre Extra is a blend of soy hulls and cold-pressed linseed flake as a rich source of Omegas 3,6 and 9 and as an excellent source of fibre and protein. The pellets are low in sugar and starch with healthy fats derived from residual oil.

  • Introduce gradually into your horses diet
  • Feed Cool Fibre Extra within a total meal ration along with a 'long fibre' such as chaff or chafflage
  • Nutritional analysis: Crude protein 13.5%, crude fat 4.0%, NDF 67%, starch <3%, NSC <9% and dry matter 8 MJ/Kg.
  • Soak for a palatable wet mash at a rate of one part Cool Fibre Extra to four parts water for five minutes
  • Note: Consult with a professional before feeding to a horse with metabolic disorders, such as Laminitis or Cushings

Feeding rates As a guideline only: 200 to 350 kg pony - maintenance 1 to 1.5 kg a day, moderate work 1.5 to 2 kg a day. 400 to 650 kg horse - maintenance 1 to 2 kg a day, moderate work 2 to 3 kg a day.
